How to create beautiful Mandalas

In order to create a Nonagon (9-sided polygon) we need first a circle.
Every circle has 360°, so we divide 360 by 9 = 40°, and therefore we know that each of the 9 points on the circle is in 40° distance to the next point. (See this in the animation on page 1)
40° is a close approximation, it serves the purpose of creating the mandala, but if you are interested in the correct mathematical construction of a nonagon please go to mathworld.wolfram.com/Nonagon.html

Now, in order to connect all 9 points on the nonagon with each other you have to make 27 strokes and will get a beautiful grid as you can see on the left. (See this in the animation on page 5)

Once the grid is created all you have to do is to fill the spaces with color, again and again, until Spirit lets you know this is the right one...:-)

Number 9

Number nine represents the new (novum). Nine is the result of the final mastering of life. It combines the positive and negative in harmony. While eight represents the marriage and procreation of a new being, so represents the nine the pregnancy and giving birth of that holy being, a reestablishing of the cosmic consciousness and homecoming into the infinite Light. Nine is also called the number of renewing, transformation, and change. As a reversal of the number six, nine is the number with the highest sublimation of creative life-power.

In the nine, the female is no longer the receiving vessel for the male, but the light and the crown for the male. All life-power streams up to the source to merge with the divine lover. It is the unification with spirit, only possible because the ego and the karma has been overcome completely. A free human being.

Nine is a symbol for the indestructibleness, the Monad, or the indestructible nucleus, the divine spark within the human.

Another ensign for the nine is Ascension Day as well as transfiguration; representing the soul's homecoming to the source, to the Father/Mother God, and the fully developed lightbody of a human being. The human achieves the full potential and power of his mind, is fully awakened and consecrated, and a master of the nine arts and faculties of mind. The human with the mastered nine is a master of the three worlds:
1 2 3 - body
4 5 6 - soul
7 8 9 - spirit

This process of enlightenment, the development of the cosmic consciousness, starts with the number seven, and finds its accomplishment in the number nine. Nine is the symbol for the Cosmic Christ, the son of God, the White Light and eternal Life.

Diamond and clear crystal are the stones of a nine, reflecting the toughness and indestructibility as well as purity, transparence, and quality.

Nine is the number of spiritual teachers, masters, the consecrated ones. The nine is the experience of the All-One, oneness, and unity throughout All Creation. It is about constant creative activity through body, mind and soul, pointig up and focusing on the highest goal, the implementation of the Divine Plan.

Nine is the fruit from the tree of life, the result of matter's long way through shift and change, redemption, and ascension into the eternal life. It has an understanding for both sides of the coin, this is why nine not only is the cross sum of the high energy realm:
144000 = 1+4+4 = 9
but nine is also the cross sum for the low energy realm:
666 = 6+6+6 = 18 = 1+8 = 9
And all is good because all is One.
