What is the energy of the year 2005

The year 2005 is associated with the energy of the number 7.
In the Tarot it is represented by the card "The Chariot", the principle of Change, Movement, and a combination of Stillness and Activity.

This is the year to relocate, travel, adjust your career, or to embrace new and unknown challenges. Movements are happening in all areas of life: people are moving in or out your house, your workspace, and your private space. Friends moving in or out your life, as well as you should move towards new relationships. A relationship is not reduced to persons, but can also be a relationship with nature, new thought forms, or with a new philosophy.

You are required to find the balance between the activity of moving and resting. Yes, this year is the challenge to make your steps, do what you wanted to do since long time, act rather than re-acting, but keep it in perfect balance with those times of rest, when you regenerate yourself and getting ready for the next movements; "and God was resting on the 7th day… thinking: what next…".

"Thinking" is one of the goals of the number 7, which is also called a "holy number" and appears in many aspects of life: seven days a week, seven colors of the rainbow, seven periods of the chemical elements, seven main chakras, seven tones of the octave, and more. In the Kaballa it is said: "7 is the number of the whole and cosmic human. Those who have mastered the number 6 (last year) will awaken in the period of number 7 to cosmic consciousness."

GREATNESS is attained only by thinking of great thoughts
Quote by W.D. Wattles:

GREATNESS is attained only by thinking of great thoughts. No man can become great in outward personality until he is great internally; and no man can be great internally until he THINKS. No amount of education, reading, or study can make you great without thought; but thought can make you great with very little study. There are altogether too many people who are trying to make something of themselves by reading books without thinking; all such will fail. You are not mentally developed by what you read, but by what you think about what you read.

Thinking is the hardest and most exhausting of all labor; and hence many people shrink from it. God has so formed us that we are continuously impelled to thought; we must either think or engage in some activity to escape thought. The headlong, continuous chase for pleasure in which most people spend all their leisure time is only an effort to escape thought. If they are alone, or if they have nothing amusing to take their attention, as a novel to read or a show to see, they must think; and to escape from thinking they resort to novels, shows, and all the endless devices of the purveyors of amusement. Most people spend the greater part of their leisure time running away from thought, hence they are where they are. We never move forward until we begin to think.

Read less and think more.

What is the energy of January 2005

January 2005 is associated with the energy of the number 8.
In the Tarot the card "Adjustment/Justice", the principle of balance, represents this number.

It couldn't be a better start for this new year: Movement forwards and balance through adjustment and justice.

This month's energy is a great reminder for us how important it is not merely to move on, move forward, change and remodel, but to keep it in balance - not to "overdo" what we try to accomplish. The desire for fairness, harmony, and beauty plays a big role in this month.
If a decision or planed move doesn't "feel" right and harmonious, just don't do it. Think! And think again until the mental and emotional part of you is in balance with it, and then act. Do not judge whatever comes to you - be the observer, accept God's creation the way it is, and change your attitude until you are in balance with your perceptions of reality - THEN make your moves.

If you are caught up in seemingly insolvable problems, go out in nature, and re-establish your relationship with Mother Earth. A good meditation outdoors may create a miracle.

Meditation
by Jacqueline M. Chin

Many styles of meditation practice exist today. They generally involve focusing on energy centers in the body, concentrating on an image, chanting, or breathing exercises. Regardless of the style, they all share a common goal – to silence thought. When thought ceases a connection to the world of light, wisdom and pure consciousness occurs.

In the last decade meditation has become an important, although still minor, healing modality used by psychotherapists and rehabilitation institutions. It is being studied at the world’s largest universities. Science is finally confirming what was known to yogis for millennia: meditation helps us to heal emotionally, has a calming effect on our nerves, balances blood pressure, has excellent stress reduction properties, helps us to relax and to control pain. But whatever the ‘worldly’ benefits of meditation, its most important application is spiritual growth, which is impossible without contemplative practice.

The term "meditation" is often used both to denote the process or technique of meditation, as well as the state "elicited" by meditation practice. Usually during meditation there is concentration on a particular object or idea, such as a flower, a candle flame, a sound, a word (mantra), an image of a deity, or the act of breathing.

A Poem

The New Year

It is the New Year. Embrace the opportunities today.
The former things have passed away.
It is a year of new hope and of new birth.
Take a lesson from mother earth.
All things now have been made new.
There is so much more you can do.
Forgive those who have caused you pain last year.
Move forward there is no need to fear.
A new dawn is beckoning you forward.
Each day is it’s own reward.
Happy New Year, one and all.
Move forward. Do not neglect the call.

I wish you a wonderful, happy, prosperous New Year!

Much Love and Light in Oneness,
Angela

There is no "truth hammered in stone".
The only truth you can rely on is the truth in your own heart.
