Remember...?
To utilize the Power of Creation it is imperative to balance male and female energies. This is the main task of the year 2004, overshadowing all other personal tasks.

Creativity

Creativity is the capacity to create, the act of creating - with other words: to be the creator. Well, I am not talking about The Creator, but I talk about you as creator in your own world and of your own world. This is for most people a very exciting thought process to discover, but it also has some seemingly scary aspects: as you do understand and accept the concept of being the creator of your own world, you have taken the responsibility for everything you do, everything that happens to you and everything else you create either for yourself or others. It is in your hands how your life turns out to be, therefore you are able to change it if it doesn't turn out the way you like - and therefore, for the privilege to change your reality, you loose the chance to blame somebody else on your destiny. No other human to blame, no circumstances to blame, no God to blame. The role of the victim is lost for ever!

Most of the time, to change our reality means to change our perspectives, perceptions and thoughts. In fact, we can't change much in our surrounding besides moving physical things around. We can clean the house, we can repair the car, we certainly can help a child to get better grades in school. But what about the bad tempered neighbor who is constantly sending poisonous looks every time we meet? Can we change him? No. Can we change the reality around him? Yes, at least from our point of view. All it takes is some discipline to change our perceptions and thoughts. We send him Love and Light, we think of him as a wonderful lovely neighbor (to pull the future into the now), we acknowledge him as a human with the divine sparkle within, we see God's perfect creation in this being. We just love him unconditionally for who and what he is. (Nobody said it would be easy...:-). After a while, there will be real changes -- in our mind first, in our own perception of reality next, and then the real miracle happens: the neighbor appears to be really a nice neighbor.

You have to do it to believe it.

It is wonderfully mind boggling to be stroke by the epiphany that every single movement we do is an act of creation, an expression of our creativity, either consciously or unconsciously. By lifting one arm over the head we move and accelerate millions of air molecules, these molecules push others and create a chain reaction perhaps throughout the entire universe - an energetically fingerprint of us will remain either way. WHAT A Thought!

Life is bliss once we unleash consciously the pure creativity, which is the divine sparkle in each and everyone of us. This divine sparkle will find its expressions in as many ways as there are life forms.

What energy carries February 2004

February 2004 is associated with the energy of the number 8.

It is the number of infinity and in the Tarot it is represented by the card of "Adjustment/Justice", or the "Principal of Balance". While the year 2004 requires balance between the female and male energies, the month February can teach us HOW to balance. Many tests can come up with the issues of power, magic, attention and attentiveness in order to learn how to find the balance in all kind of different situations.

It is said that "Power is the great temptation and challenge for all great spiritual teachers and masters". Once this test is truly mastered, power has no longer meaning, and only unconditional divine love will remain.

This February is a good month to review your real motivations and intentions behind your actions and thoughts. The mastery of the number 8 is the question about highest ethic and purity of motives.

WOW!

The US spends in 2004 as much on defense (US$399 billion) as the 20 next top-spending nations combined.
~~(Adbusters, November/December 2003)

I always wanted to see how much the military budget really is, therefore I need some comparative data to make these huge numbers clear to myself:

399,000,000,000 Dollars for defense ($399 billion)
--- 288,000,000 Citizens in the US
(288 million)

Theoretically, (including babies, unemployed and retired people), every single citizen pays yearly
$1,385 for the military.

That still doesn't look too big or in any way impressive, so let's try another comparison of data:
If you would be given the US defense budget of only one year, you could pay your monthly cost for living of estimated $10,000 (I know, that's high) for
138,417 years (by monthly expenses of $10,000!)

Unfortunately our brains are not capable of grasping a bigger number of years than our own life span is, which might be 100 years. So, don't even try to "get a sense" about how long 138-thousand years would be...:-)

Let's say, you put aside $120,000 for your yearly living expenses for 100 years, that sums up to only $12,000,000 and the rest of $398,988,000,000 you are going to share. You then could give to
398,988 people $1,000,000 (1 million)
or give
1,994,940 poor families (~2 million) a house each worth $200,000

Military Yearly Budget - Countries

$ 379 billion ( 2003 ) - United States
$ -34.8 billion ( 2001 ) - United Kingdom
$ -29 billion ( 2000 ) - Russia
$ -27 billion ( 2000 ) - France
$ -23.1 billion ( 2001 ) - Germany
$ -18.7 billion ( 2000 ) - Saudi Arabia
$ -15.9 billion ( 2000 ) - India
$ -14.5 billion ( 2000 ) - China
$ -12.8 billion ( 2000 ) - South Korea
$ -12.8 billion ( 2000 ) - Taiwan
$ -7.5 billion ( 2000 ) - Iran
$ -3.3 billion ( 2000 ) - Pakistan
$ -1.8 billion ( 2000 ) - Syria
$ -1.4 billion ( 1999 ) - Iraq
$ -1.3 billion ( 2000 ) - North Korea
$ -1.3 billion ( 2000 ) - Yugoslavia
$ -1.2 billion ( 2000 ) - Libya
--------------------------------------------
$ 425 million ( 2000 ) - Sudan
$
-31 million ( 2000 ) - Cuba

You wonder what all that has to do with a lightworker's interest? Here it comes:
with only one year's military budget, combined of all countries paying to their defense household, we could feed for at least one year all
6,352,831,440 earthlings (6.35 billion Dec.2003) living on this planet

As John Lennon, The Beatles, once sang: "Imagine...."

Something to smile

Spirit's jokes with me.

I was a big time television watcher. And although, in Germany at that time, we had only 3 channels, it was an invisible "law" to watch the last pictures out of this machine. Later, in the last five or six years of my tv-watcher-carrier, we had some private channels, which were running around the clock, gee, can you imagine...:-)

When I came home, the first thing I did was to switch on this machine. It was running either in the background or directly for my entertainment until I went to bed. The next morning it was the first thing again to switch on before I even started my coffee machine.

You can say, I was a television addict. Astonishing enough, that it was not even satisfying; either I scared myself to death, or I bored myself to death, or I became wildly angry because on no channel was anything of interest for me, and that describes an addict: "you have to do it", even though you don't really like it.

I have allowed this machine to steal so many hours a day, so many days of my life... that it became a serious conflict, thinking, what else could I do if I wouldn't waste my time in front of this machine. Well, I didn't know what else I would do, because how could I know what I would do if in fact I have never tried it! The other concern was, that this machine put such an incredible amount of thought-forms into my head, which are not mine, and which I can't control, because this external "opinion making" goes uninterrupted on and on. There is no time, to really "re-think" a thought, because with the next picture, with the next show or the next channel comes already the next thought, slammed into the head, and the next thought and the next thought....

I have seen the total dilemma I was in and decided, from one day to the other, to get rid of this addiction by getting rid of the television. Very spontaneous I gifted my television to my neighbor. Just so, cable out of the wall, and boom, and gone.

The first days I did with excitement all these things I haven't done in long time. I just enjoyed myself tremendously. And then came the day, where I was not in the mood "to do" something, and wished just to sit down and let myself be entertained - I missed my television and I started to regret deeply that I had given it away.

The next day I felt so awfully bored, that I was almost on my way, to ask the neighbor to give back that machine! Thank God, I didn't.

Over time I actually figured out, that it is perfectly ok and enjoyable to just sit on the sofa, doing nothing, thinking nothing, and just being. And because I had not the courage to ask back my television, I started a very creative enlightening period of my life. I can look back on a television free life of over 14 years! Yep, 14 wonderful years without it - and not missed a single second after my initial "what-do-I-do-now problems".

Last year, I have gotten a big gift... guess what? Yes, a television! Within a three-quarter year I started again a habit, to watch television "as relaxation" (lame excuse!) after long hours working on the computer. Now, how smart is that? Not smart at all, especially when I allow the television to be the one who puts the last thoughts into my brain before I go to bed....

After all my experiences, from one extreme to the other, I will handle it this time differently. I simply don't switch it on just because I don't know what to do next. I just sit down, read a book, or listen to music and my fantasy, or allow myself to be in the flow, to go into silence and enjoy the power of love and/or inspiration pouring out of this silence - - right now that I write these words, I feel in all my cells, that I have cut myself off from this wonderful experiences, and I MISS it!

And maybe once a week (or once a month?) there will be the time to watch television through conscious choice for one certain show of interest.

How about you? Are you a big time tv watcher? Or do you have a daily watching routine?
I hope I don't loose friends here when I try to inspire you to make a simple addiction test: switch off the tv, and leave it off completely for 7 days... just to see what happens...:-)

Love and Light in Oneness,
Angela
